My husband and I would like to do a day hike on the Vivian Creek Trail to bag our San Gorgonio Peak, however, it looks like there are no more permits available for this trail on the weeknends that we are available (Sept 9/10 or 23/24)? Does anyone have a permit for these weekends and have two more spots available for my husband and I to join? We are experienced and strong hikers (usually keep a pace between 2-3 mph on strenuous hkes). We are happy to keep this pace or go faster or slower if need be to stay with the group.
If not, I know that South Fork is a trail to use to summit, but are there others as well?
