The Wonderland Trail is a 93-mile loop that runs completely around Mount Rainier in Mount Rainier National Park. It’s a fantastic backpacking trip that can be done in 7-11 days, making it do-able for people with a week of vacation to spare.

I thru-hiked the Wonderland Trail back in August 2019 with my friends Jason and Derek, and I’ve put together a guide to the trail along with a day-by-day breakdown of our 13-day itinerary. It includes trail description, tons of photos and maps, elevation profiles and downloadable GPS data.

Check out our Guide to the Wonderland Trail, and then come back to this forum to ask any questions about the Wonderland Trail.
