    Conditions were epic. Little bit of snow on ground but no spikes needed just patches close to the peak. Clear blue skies.

    Planning on hiking Cucamonga peak tomorrow. Most people start at 7:30am. Does the parking lot close and open at a certain time. I wanted to start hiking at 6 am. I can do that?

    I hiked Cucamonga Peak today (Saturday). I got there at 6:35am and the parking lot was full. We were able to park on the side of the road on Mt Baldy Rd. There is no gate or open or close time, as people will hike this overnight.
