Cucamonga Peak at end of February 2016

I read somewhere the trail to summit is closed after the Saddle. I can't find trail report on Cucamonga Wilderness anywhere on Internet. Has anyone hiked CP in February? I'm leading a group and want to know if I should change the date for later in the season. Thanks!
