Anyone doing Cucamonga Peak or Mt. Baldy driving from North?

I am planning to camp at Manker Flats on Saturday and start my hike at Cucamonga Peak on Sunday morning with a group. Is anybody traveling from Bakersfield or nearby areas, so we can carpool?
