Mt. Wilson fail – Parking :(

Scheduled the date for our first peak, set the alarm and heeded all the advice to get to the trail head before 7am. Arrived at 6:40am to find it completely packed 🙁 I brought my truck so no squeezing it in on the side of the road 🙁 We were very bummed out.
Backup plan for the day as we drove 80 miles to get there and we weren’t going home without a hike 🙂 Went to Echo Mtn trail head and hiked the 3 miles to the top. Great hike and would have kept going but due to the parking we were running out of time.
Heading back down and found a great Hamburger place in Pasadena.
Time to resked the Mt. Wilson climb!!
