Beautiful hike up big Santa Anita Canyon to the summit of Wilson. We had a bit of excitement when we ran into a rattlesnake that was crossing the trail about 800 feet below the summit. We just waited a minute for the little guy, maybe three or so feet long, to amble across the trail and then we were off to the summit.
