Cucamonga Cleats!

Beautiful hike with lot’s of water flow. We new there was snow towards top so we had micro cleats and walking poles which made the last 3 miles doable but very sketchy and tough. Should have brought my regular cleats and it would have been easier to negotiate the snow. Regardless, as a former Marine, I enjoyed the challenge having been to both Summer & Winter Mountain Warfare School.
