Five Ways to Find Your Adventure

Put Micro-Adventure in Your Everyday Life

You can find your adventure wherever you are

Sometimes it can be easy to get caught up in the routine of everyday life and forget that there is so much out there to see and explore right in front of you.  And you can’t always get away to the mountains. Sometimes you have to go to work or school, too.

Here are five simple ways to find your adventure on a daily basis:

1. Be Curious

Get out there, explore, and see something new and different. Be curious about what’s out there.  Go somewhere you’ve never been before, or try something new. Find a new trail to hike!

2. See the Beauty in Everything

Keep your eyes open- there is so much beauty that we pass by on a daily basis without even realizing.  Walk, instead of drive.  Observe and really notice all that is around you. Sometimes, that means putting the camera away!

3. Just Go

Don’t think about it, don’t hesitate, just do it.  Get outside and experience life.

4. Be Open

Have no predefined expectations.  The best things in life are the ones I never expected or imagined possible.  You’ll be surprised how much more fun life is without setting our standard of how it’s supposed to be.

5. Be Grateful

If you look for the good, you will find it.  The only thing we can control is our own attitude, so make it a good one!

There’s so much adventure out there, I hope you get out there and experience it!
