During the Federal Government shut down, rangers at our National Parks took a lot of heat for keeping people out of the parks and memorials they are entrusted with protecting. In this video produced by the National Parks Conservation Association, the rangers get a chance to speak up and share their side of the story.

The good news is that the crisis has been at least temporarily averted. But there are still a lot of bad vibes, resentment and misunderstanding about the impact of the shutdown on our National Parks.
